4 Great Beach Front Bars

On The Fourth Day Of Christmas The Favorite Sun Gave To Me…

4 Great Fort Myers Beach Front Bars

Our gift to you, on the fourth day of Christmas is, 4 Great Fort Myers Beach Front Bars. In the words of Jimmy Buffet, “It’s 5:00 Somewhere”, and in the Fort Myers area there are plenty of places to grab a drink. But let’s face it…an ice cold beer or a frozen margarita are always better with a view of the ocean and your toes in the sand.

The Cottage makes the list of 4 great beach front bars by offering their customers a combination of live music, cold drinks and a great view of the water. You can get here by car, boat, or walk if you are staying near by. They serve hot dogs but if you are looking for something more, the Gulf Shore Grill  upstairs. If you are up for a game of corn hole, a fun crowd and a good time, keep The Cottage in mind!

With drinks called The Miami Vice and Don’t Do It Alone Margarita, Ugly’s Waterfront Bar, the bar upstairs at Nervous Nellies, is sure to make our list. The folks at Ugly’s say it’s the place where everyone gets prettier.  They have live music, happy hour all day, everyday and always a great crowd. Click here for the live music schedule.

The Famous Blowfish Bar at the Pier Side Grill is a triple threat! Right next to the Fort Myers Pier, perfect view of the sunset and scores a 10 on the people watching scale. They have live music twice a day and great food. Don’t forget to feed the meter, you’ll be there for awhile. Happy Hour is 3 pm – 6 pm that features $2 drafts.

Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grille will not disappoint!  This gem sits on the back of Estero Bay on San Carlos Island.  They also have two other location, one on Sanibel Island and one on Captiva Island. They offer entertainment and delicious food. The bar has a huge selection of rum. The mojitos and the Barbados rum punch are out of this world. When you are in the area, make sure you stop by.

If you are looking for even more of a selection, check out our Pinterest Beach Front Bars board.
