Coconut Jack’s Waterfront Grill
The last time Matt and I were at The Favorite Sun we decided to go on a banana cruise. A banana cruise has nothing to do with bananas or cruising. It’s when you get in the car and go for a drive to nowhere in particular. This banana cruise brought us to Bonita Springs where we stopped for dinner at Coconut Jack’s Waterfront Grill. There is inside and outside seating, we decided on outside. The outside seating area had a lot of ceiling fans and it was screened in. Coconut Jack’s gets two thumbs up for a cool, breezy dining area without those pesky noseeums.
For drinks, I got the frozen rose sangria and Matt had an Angry Orchard. My drink was really good. We split the crab cake appetizer which was a special that night. Coconut Jack’s gets another two thumbs up for the crab cakes. We split the Ultimate Trio, grouper, scallops and shrimp for dinner. If only I had three thumbs to put up for dinner. Yes. it was that good. And for the record I am not splitting any more at Coconut Jack’s, because it’s really too good to share. Our waitress was wonderful and gave us excellent service. No dessert for us that night but I hear the coconut cream pie is to die for.
Here is what some people from TripAdvisor thought about Coconut Jack’s,

I would highly recommend Coconut Jack’s. It looks like next time I am there I need to try the coconut shrimp. If you have already been to Coconut Jack’s we would love to hear about your experience.
